What to avoid if have Stomach related problems (Acid Reflux, Stomach cancer..etc.)
1. Sweets include fruits (eat only during lunch between 11 to 1pm)
2. Sour taste food include fruit and vinegar
3. Porridge – oatmeal, and other Chinese style porridge, also too much soup and drinks while eating or right after meal. The idea is the stomach acid production will be triggered by these food, however there is no food to digest so the over produced acid will start to cause issues.
4. glutinous rice, sushi rice: also their products such as mochi
5. Avoid drinks stimulated drinks such as tea, coffee, espresso and other caffeine drinks with empty stomach
6. Eat your meal slowly and chew thoroughly ( the idea is to stimulate production of saliva so the stomach will not need to produce too much acid to digest the food) and with regular schedule. We want to avoid the stomach to be too full or too empty.
7. Avoid drink cold drinks include juice or vegetable juice with empty stomach.
8. To eat vegetable remember to eat it regularly without too much spice, and do not drink vegetable mix juice.
9. !!! Buy Salted Crackers, after meal or when the acid reflux happens, eat two to three pieces to neutralize stomach acid.
